A California Wildflower Sunset Maternity Session

The weather this year has truly been incredible! I can’t even believe the amount of rain California has gotten this year, and I think we all can agree we have so desperately needed it.

With all the rain has come some absolutely beautiful phenomenons! There has been talk of a super bloom this year (aka tons and tons of wildflowers blooming all over!) and we’re seeing tiny wildflowers covering almost every square inch of what used to be dirt. Southern California is completely covered in lush green grass, and the sunsets have been vibrant and colorful with so many stormy clouds. If you can’t guess where I’m going with this, let me give it away to ya: the picture opportunities have been nothing short of incredible!

Beautiful locations + stunning sunsets + gorgeous, well dressed clients who trust to be creative = pure MAGIC.

This session fit right in with that description. The Jeffries family was ready to announce to the world that another little soul is soon to join their family (yay for pregnancy announcements!)

I loved the color palette they picked for their session. Soft neutrals, and Blaires dress was perfect. It’s from Petal and Pup (linked here) and fit her (+ her precious baby bump) like a glove.

I could have shot with them for hours, and we definitely shot until it got dark. Huge congrats to the Jeffries family and I can’t wait to meet their little one who will soon be earthside!
